HOPE Community Development Corporation

HOPE Community Development Corporation is excited about it's new initiative, the HOPE Youth Development Movement. By combining all its youth programs into one integrated system, HOPE has created a movement to help youth develop into responsible, productive community members. HOPE provides a broad array of services to targeted youth ages 14-21, including academic enrichment/tutoring, character education, leadership development, post-secondary education, career awareness, summer employment, support services, and truancy diversion.

HOPE Community Development Corporation is a faith based non-profit established in 1997. Our goal is to help families break the cycle of poverty and move from dependency to self-reliance. This goal aligns perfectly with the Schoenbaum Family Enrichment Center. We relocated to the Center so that our efforts to serve youth and their families and provide support services will be enhanced.

HOPE Community Development Corporation works closely with many organizations that partner with the Center, including:

Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc. (OIC) of Charleston	Job training and placement, adult basic education
Step By Step	Step By Step is a regional community education program whose mission is to work with people to be advocates for themselves and leaders in their communities, with a focus on serving youth.
Prestera Center	Comprehensive behavioral health services for children, youth and adults.
