To facilitate access for people in the Charleston area and region
The one-stop location offers health care, child care, job training, youth
programming, housing assistance, information & referral, community capacity
building resources, Birth To Three (early intervention) services, and
Community Enrichment Center.
What Are the Benefits to The Community?
To provide quality service and a positive environment needed to attract and retain clients
The central location will help expand direct service by approximately one third during the next two years
The service providers improve assistance to people they serve by working closely with other providers in the coalition
What Services Does FEC Provide?
Public Services:
Information Center: a service area for visitors to get information about services located in the center, as well as get information about services in the region in our Resource Library, equipped with a Kanawha County Public Library Kiosk and access to the internet.
Service Coordination: a service area that assists families with multiple needs in making informed decisions about service options, and developing a plan of action to obtain access to appropriate resources in the Center and region.
Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation Community Enrichment Center: space for community groups to hold workshops, seminars, public forums that are consistent with the mission and vision of the coalition.

Operate integrated facility services that keep operations running smoothly for our customers, visitors, and partners
